The artwork process

Order placed/Artwork Submission > Artwork Proof Generated > Artwork Proof Approved / Production Begins

Your estimated delivery date is based on our standard artwork schedule as listed below. Not promptly providing artwork in the correct format, changes to your art design, or needing help designing or editing your artwork may lead to a delivery date delay.

Order Placed / Artwork submission

Once you place your order, an artwork submission prompt will appear allowing you several options to provide your artwork. Details are provided below in the how to submit your art section.

Orders placed before 2PM Pacific Standard Time will be considered as a same day purchase. Orders placed after will be considered placed on the next business day.

Artwork proof generated

You will be contacted within 24 business hours of your order receipt. If we have received your artwork and it is in the correct format, a digital art proof will be e-mailed to you for your approval at this time. The digital art proof will show you the exact text, placement, sizing, color, and overall details of the customization. It will need to be reviewed thoroughly, as once confirmed by you, no changes or cancellations can be made to the order. If your artwork needs to be adjusted or designed by Kipmark, or was not submitted with your order, a delay in your estimated delivery date may occur. Learn more about our FREE graphic services here.

Artwork proof approval

An approved via e-mail is needed within 24 hours of receipt of the digital proof. Should there be any changes needed to the digital proof, there may be a delay in the estimated delivery date. Depending on the changes needed, it may take up to 24 business hours to send you a revised digital art proof.

Production Begins

Production will only begin after we get a final approval on the digital proof. The production time will vary by product, and a final delivery date will be confirmed within 24 business hours after your digital art proof approval.



How to submit your art

My Artwork Is Ready. Great! We got 3 options for you to submit the artwork to us.

Option 1 - Once you've completed checking out. There will be an option for you to upload your artwork.

Option 2 - You can login to your MyKipmark account and upload your artwork at any time.

Option 3 - You can e-mail your artwork to us any time after your order is placed. Send it to artwork@kipmark.com and just reference your PO# in your e-mail.

Not sure if your artwork is the right format?

Only have a .jpg, or a scanned paper napkin? No problem. Our graphics team will be happy to assist in getting your artwork ready for FREE.

Is my artwork any good?

From editing files like .PSD (Photoshop) to compression files such as .jpg and .png, digital files come in all shapes and formats. They each have their dynamic uses. But for branding products, we require a special type of format to ensure a crisp, clean outcome of your final product.

We utilize various imprinting techniques to brand our products. You can learn about them here.
Good artwork for the all of these techniques is vectorized artwork saved as a Adobe Illustrator (AI), Corel Draw (CDR), EPS, or PDF format. One exception for this is embroidery. Good artwork for embroidery is a specialized file called a DST file.


Vector artwork is basically a file that is created in a program such as Adobe Illustrator using 2D points connected by lines and curves. Being created in this format allows the imprinting software to generate exact lines and colors which can be transferred onto the promotional product.
